Our Commitment

Why The Phoenix: A Symbol of Hope, Healing, and Renewal

At Phoenix Therapeutics, PLLC, our name is more than a symbol—it’s a story rooted in love, resilience, and transformation.

The phoenix, a mythical bird that rises from its own ashes, represents the power to begin again after hardship. It embodies the journey through darkness into light, and the courage it takes to heal, grow, and reclaim one’s strength.

This image took on personal significance when someone dear to us, in the midst of their own mental health journey, shared their vision of a phoenix. To them, it wasn’t just a mythical creature—it was a reflection of their readiness to face the road ahead, to endure the pain, and to ultimately take flight into a new chapter. Their story became the heartbeat of our mission.

Today, that vision lives on in every aspect of our work. At Phoenix Therapeutics, we honor the unique journey of each individual who walks through our doors. We strive to hold space for healing, to foster strength through connection, and to help every person envision their own path forward—to rise, rebuild, and embody their inner phoenix.

Our Story.

Our journey began in 2024 as Blaize Bureau Consulting, LLC; founded on the values of empowerment, community well-being, and mental health awareness. In an effort to uphold these values, we offered self-curated workshops and trainings to support individuals and communities in meaningful ways. Over time, our mission grew, and what started as a consulting practice evolved into Phoenix Therapeutics, PLLC. Today, we honor those same core values while expanding our services to include therapeutic care tailored to the diverse needs of the people we serve.

At Phoenix Therapeutics, PPLC, we believe in creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to reclaim their sense of self. Just as healing is a journey of growth and transformation, so too is our practice.

We are committed to continued growth—both as a team and as a community—always striving to take our work, and the individuals we serve, to new heights.

Meet Our CEO & Founder

Jarrett C. Blaize, MSW, LCSW

Hi, I’m Jarrett Blaize (he/him), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina and the founder of Phoenix Therapeutics, PLLC. Originally from New York City, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Development from SUNY Plattsburgh after cycling through five different majors—knowing I wanted to help others but unsure of the right path. I later completed my MSW at Hunter College with a specialization in Child Welfare: Children, Youth, and Families.

I have been practicing clinically since 2022 and am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). My therapeutic style is trauma-informed and collaborative, empowering clients to take an active role in their healing. I draw on a variety of modalities and my experience across psychiatric hospitals, community programs, child welfare, and university counseling centers to provide care that is culturally responsive, affirming, and tailored to each person’s unique needs.

At the heart of my work is the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth and resilience. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, understood, and equipped to move forward with confidence.
